Shooting Galleries – Interview with an upcoming band

The Shooting Galleries are an upcoming alternative modern rock band. The guys were established in January of 2021, since they started, they achieved all their goals so far, which are put on a show and make good fucking music! They have released 2 singles and 1 EP, they have showcased these songs at the O2 Academy in Islington, Soma festival and Camden Rock festival and while performing with the band “This Feeling”. The SG-s also appeared at the “New Blood” Competition for upcoming bands, where they became quarter finalists.

They are an independent band, both in their song writing and song releases, in the future however, they would like to sign on with a record company to make their dreams come true and do what they love for a living. The band is made up of 5 members, Brandon who writes the lyrics and is the main vocalist, Jimmy who does backing vocals and plays rhythm guitar, Iggy who plays lead guitar for the band, bass which is played by Brad and last but not least Ross the drummer, who also keeps the boys in line. All the boy’s take their parts out equally when it comes to their songwriting and they view each other’s ideas as equal.

The band is active on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and of course Spotify which is where most of their songs are released. They also have their own merchandise available in the form of T-shirts, stickers and lighters. Their aspirations for the near future are to support bigger bands, sell out bigger venues, perform at bigger festivals and finally, as always strive to make people excited about their music. The boys have quite a busy calendar towards the end of 2022 as they have a new song and music video coming out in September, with multiple gigs in between and a potential tour of Europe where they would be the opening band at each event. If you had to sum up “The Shooting Galleries” in a couple words, they would have to be the most ambitious and down to earth bunch who aim to do no less than give the people music that they can relate and rock all night to.
